About

I like understanding how things work.

Products, systems, interfaces, games, rules, behavior. My design career began in visual communication, moved through interfaces and product, and now increasingly connects with systems, code, and AI.

How I work

  1. I start with the problem.

Before designing a solution, I try to understand the context, who takes part in the journey, which rules already exist, and where the real friction lies. Often, the problem is not the interface itself, but how decisions, information, and processes have been organized over time.

  2. I think in systems.

A solution needs to work beyond the happy path. I consider states, exceptions, dependencies, business rules, and how different parts of a product relate to one another. This matters especially in B2B products, CRM, ERP, and workflows with significant operational complexity.

  3. I test hypotheses.

Research, usability testing, behavior, and data help me question decisions before they become product rules. I use prototypes, flows, experiments, and code when needed to understand not only whether an idea looks good, but whether it actually works.

  4. I design for different people.

Accessibility is part of experience quality, not a final checklist. Beyond WCAG guidelines, I consider different ways of perceiving, navigating, understanding, and interacting with an interface across contexts, devices, and levels of familiarity.

What interests me

Systems. Complex products. Behavior. Technology.

I am particularly interested in products with many rules, states, exceptions, and relationships between different parts. I like finding where complexity actually lives and making the experience clearer without erasing what the business needs to preserve.

That curiosity draws me toward B2B products, Design Systems, functional prototyping, code, and AI applied to the design process.

Interests that also shape how I see

Videogames

I especially enjoy platformers, puzzles, simulation, and strategy games. Perhaps because they are systems that teach their rules as we interact with them.

Board games

I also like creating games for my own parties. It is a somewhat peculiar way of turning a social situation into rules, goals, and interactions.

Podcasts

On Sapa Justa, I do something different from product work: talk, listen to stories, and explore perspectives.
